Visa stops fully its activity in occupied territories

July 15, Fineko/abc.az. International card system Visa has completely stopped operations in cash machines in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan country with payment cards under its brand.

Visa was the first international card system to stop cash and non-cash transactions with payment cards under its brand in more than 20 cash machines installed by Armenian banks in the occupied territories.

Visa has been operating in Azerbaijan since 1997. The total number of Visa payment cards issued by local banks is about 3 million.
