Azerbaijan Central Bank’s currency reserves grew by $53.5 million in November

December 6, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan reports that in November, as well as between January and October, foreign exchange reserves continued to grow.

The CBA reports that as of 1 December the volume of foreign exchange reserves of the Bank amounted to $5.25 bn against $5.2 bn on 1 November. The rise of CBA currency reserves in November 2017 amounted to $53.5 million or 1%.

As of 1 January 2016 foreign exchange reserves amounted to $5.016 bn. For comparison, CBA's currency reserves reached $15.19 bn (absolute record) by 1 August 2014.

At the end of 2016 CBA's currency reserves amounted to $3.97 bn. For the current year CBA’s currency reserves increased by $1.279 bn. CBA's currency reserves decreased by $9.939 bn from 1 August 2014 to 1 November 2017.
