July 26, Fineko/abc.az. A business forum with entrepreneurs has been organized in Shamkir jointly by the Ministries of Economy and of Agriculture of Azerbaijan.

At the forum 24 entrepreneurs operating working in the Ganja-Gazakh economic region were given subsidized loans in the total amount of AZN 831,000 by the Entrepreneurship Development Fund.

The Ministry of Economy informs that the loans will be directed for the projects in the field of animal husbandry, agriculture, production of bread, harvesting of grain and production of flour.

Addressing to the forum, Deputy Economy Minister Sahib Mammadov pointed out that over the past period of the current year 592 entrepreneurs were given subsidized loans for AZN 55 million for financing investment projects worth totally AZN 197.6 million that allowed to create more than 2,200 jobs.

As a whole, to date AZN 276.9 million of subsidized loans have been given to finance up to 7,000 investment projects of business entities of the Ganja-Gazakh economic region, including loans given at the forum.
