Four NBCOs more stop operations in Azerbaijan

July 31, Fineko/abc.az. The number of non-bank credit organizations in Azerbaijan decreased in the 2nd quarter of 2019, says the monthly statistical data published by the Financial Market Supervision Authority.

During the reported period four NBCOs ceased their activities. Thus, the number of NBCOs, which reached 96 as of 31 March 2019 decreased to 92 as of 30 June 2019.

At the end of 2018 the number of NBCOs was 104. Over the first 6 months of this year 12 organizations stopped their activity. The Authority cancelled licenses of 32 NBCOs in 2018 and for the 1st half of 2019.
