August 1, Fineko/abc.az. This year the number of on-site tax audits decreased by 2.7 times (versus 2018) and by 6 times (against 2017).

“It gladdens that we always try to observe the private sector as a whole in the impact on the economy, tax policy and administration,” stated Tax Minister Mikayil Jabbarov during his speech at Cabinet Minsiters’ meeting on the socio-economic issues, chaired by President Ilham Aliyev.

"The balance on the manat accounts of the private sector in the banking system of Azerbaijan increased by 49%, and early 2019 by 20%. We believe this is an indicator of the transition of business to cashless operations and confidence to the country's economy," the minister underlined.
