August 1, Fineko/abc.az. Addressing to the Cabinet Ministers’ meeting devoted to socio-economic matters, held yesterday, President Ilham Aliyev stated that as a result of the Southern Gas Corridor Project, Azerbaijan will receive additional income.

He pointed out that the oil and gas sector is today the main sector for our country’s economic growth. Very important steps have been taken in this area.

"Azerbaijan has done a great deal of work to implement the SGC Project. Currently, realization of this project is under completion. Its last segment is approaching to an end. This is a historic project. As a result of the launch of the SGC Project, Azerbaijan will receive additional income," the head of state emphasized.
