Oil market has slumped, and Azerbaijani oil fell in price by 2%

August 2, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani oil Azeri Light has dropped in price by $1.35 (2%) up to $66.09 a barrel.

After last 4 years’ strongest slumping on Thursday the prices of standard grades of oil are rising during the trading session on Friday.

Following the 1 August’s trading at the London ICE (InterContinental Exchange Futures; ICE Futures) the price of October’s futures of Brent oil slumped by $4.55 (6.99%) up to $60.50 a barrel.

On Friday, Brent oil futures for September has soared in price by $1.45 (2.4%) up to $61.95 a barrel by 9:20 am.

Following the 1 August trading at the NIMYX Exchange the price of October’s futures of WTI oil has fallen by $4.63 (7.9%) to $53.95 a barrel.

On Friday, the cost of WTI oil futures for September has jumped in price by $1.04 (1.93%) up to $54.99 a barrel by 9:20 am.
