Central Bank unveils amount of money supply in circulation

August 5, Fineko/abc.az. According to data for the 1st half of 2019, the monetary base of Azerbaijan amounted to AZN 11.255 bn.

The Central Bank’s report says that AZN 9.17 bn was in circulation for Jan-Jun 2019.

During this period the amount of currency on correspondent accounts totaled AZN 2.064 bn. The report says that 81.5% of the monetary base is cash money supply in circulation.
