August 6, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan’s consolidated budget received AZN 4.95 bn from tax authorities for Jan-Jun 2019, including AZN 3.63 bn transferred to the State Budget and AZN 1.32 bn of contributions on social insurance and unemployment insurance transferred to the Social Insurance Protection Fund (DSMF).

The Ministry of Taxes reports that for the 1st half of 2019 it fulfilled the forecast on the collection of taxes by 108.8%. The Ministry collected taxes by 7.4% or AZN 250 million more versus the 2018 same term.

70% of tax revenues accounted for the non-oil sector and 30% for oil and gas sector.

For the first 6 months of the current year 49.7% of the annual tax forecast for 2019 was implemented, including 51.1% of the annual forecast on the non-oil sector.
