Tax revenues from oil & gas sector decreased this year

August 6, Fineko/abc.az. Tax revenues in the oil & gas sector declined under conditions of oil production cuts within the agreements on share production distribution, says the Azerbaijani Tax Ministry’s report for Jan-Jun 2019.

Tax revenues from the oil & gas sector for the 1st half of 2019 were met by 101.3% (versus the forecast), but compared with the same term of 2018 decreased by 5.9% to AZN 1.087 bn.

This decrease is fully compensated by revenues from the non-oil sector.
