Azerbaijan`s tax revenues in nonoil sector exceed AZN 2 bn this year

August 7, Fineko/abc.az. Tax revenues on the oil & gas sector totaled AZN 2.545 bn for Jan-Jun 2019 (rise of 14.3% or AZN 319 million versus Jan-Jun 2018), the Tax Ministry’s report says.

The forecast on the nonoil sector was met by 112%, and taxes for AZN 279 million were collected additionally.

The share of the nonoil sector in tax revenues increased up to 70%. Also, revenues from the private sector of the nonoil sector grew by 16% and the share of the private sector in non-tax revenues increased up to 77%. The share of voluntary payments on tax revenues from the nonoil sector reached 92%.
