Highest growth rate of tax revenues recorded in communications sector of Azerbaijan

August 7, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Taxes has reported that growth of tax revenues was observed in all spheres of activity of the nonoil sector for the first 6 months of the current year.

The highest rates of growth in tax revenues were recorded in the sphere of communications (48%), banking and insurance sectors (45%), transport (23%), service sector (21 %), construction (7.7%), and other spheres of activity (19.8%).

For Jan-Jun 2019 tax revenues from the districts of Azerbaijan increased by 12.6%, and the share of country’s districts in total tax revenues grew by 10%.
