August 9, Fineko/abc.az. For Jan-Jul 2019 the prices of consumer goods and services increased by 2.7% (versus the 2018 same term), including foods, beverages and tobacco products by 3.1%, nonfoods by 1.3%, paid services rendered to the population by 3.0%, reports the State Statistics Committee.

For comparison, over Jan-Jul of the year prices for consumer goods and services grew by 2.5% (against Jan-Jul 2018), including foods, beverages and tobacco products by 2.7%, nonfoods 1.3%, services to the population by 3.2%.

This July the prices for consumer goods and services rose by 0.1% (versus last July), including prices for nonfoods by 0.2%, for services to the population by 0.1%, while prices for foods, beverages and tobacco products remained stable.

In June 2019 the prices for consumer goods and services fell by 0.5% (versus May of the year), including foods, beverages and tobacco products by 1.1%, while the prices of nonfoods and services rendered to the population remained stable.
