A direct air corridor opens between Turkey and Azerbaijan

August 14, Fineko/abc.az. Direct flights are to open between the airports of Turkey and the international airport of Nakhchivan of Azerbaijan in compliance with the new agreement with the International Civil Aviation Organization, says Turkish State Airport Administration’s head Hussein Keskin.

The flights are scheduled to start from 15 August.

Keskin pointed out that relevant negotiations have already been completed.

Stressing that the air space of Iran and Armenia is currently used for these flights, Keskin said that the use of the new corridor is more profitable in terms of saving time and fuel.
