Azerbaijan imported 22,974 motor vehicles for past months of 2019

August 14, Fineko/abc.az. The import of motor vehicles in Azerbaijan for Jan-Jul of the current year reached 22,974 units (96.3% more versus the same period of 2018).

The State Customs Committee reports that 20,000 out of the motor vehicles imported in the country this year are light cars and other transport vehicles intended mainly to carry people.

Also, during the reporting period 139 motor vehicles designed for transportation of 10 or more people, 92 special purpose motor vehicles, 1,943 motor vehicles intended for cargo transportation were imported in Azerbaijan.
