August 15, Fineko/abc.az. The delegation of the Financial Market Supervision Authority of Azerbaijan (FIMSA) is on an official visit to the Russian Federation.

FIMSA reports that in the course of a meeting with the leadership of money transfer system Zolotaya Korona the parties covered the questions of innovative technologies in the sphere of money transfers, the bringing the country’s legislation on remittances in accord with international experience, and improvement of the mechanism of risk monitoring of money transfers in banks.

During the meeting at the Russian association Fintex, the matters of introduction of remote identification procedures, functioning of the emergency payment system, as well as open banking technology in the banking system (Open API) were discussed.

Within the discussions, it was stressed a necessity of expansion of cooperation between the Azerbaijani Banks’ Association and Fintex Association of Russia.
