September 5, Fineko / abc.az. Today, the Entrepreneurship Development Fund of the Ministry of Economy held a business forum in Khachmaz.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Economy Sahib Mammadov noted that over the past period of this year, 721 entrepreneurs received AZN 76.2 million in preferential loans for their investment projects worth AZN 265.8 million, which allowed opening up to 3,000 jobs for implementation of investment projects.

As part o the business forum, 41 entrepreneurs working in the Guba-Khachmaz economic region received preferential loans worth AZN 3.8 million. The loans will be used in such areas as tourism, animal husbandry, horticulture, the creation of an agricultural park, production of containers, etc.

The loans will make it possible to open more than 300 jobs through the implementation of investment projects.

In general, to date, business entities operating in the Guba-Khachmaz economic region, including loans issued at today's event, have received AZN 217.3 million in preferential loans to finance 2,731 investment projects.
