ECB on interest rates

September 9, Fineko/abc.az. Statistics has been published in a review of the monetary policy of the European Central Bank (ECB) for January-June.

Abc.az reports that over the reporting period, market interest by country has changed in various directions, but overall global financial conditions have softened.

So, for the indicated period, the central banks adopted 281 monetary policy decisions. Of these, 51 decisions were on reduction, 17 on growth, 213 decisions on stable support. The European Central Bank has stopped buying net assets, and also said that the interest rate will not be increased.

The statement also notes that the European Central Bank will continue its moderate monetary policy, at least until the end of 2019. Among other developing countries, the Central Bank of Japan also said it will pursue a moderate monetary policy that maintains a fairly low interest rate.
