September 12, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan-Russia (Sverdlovsk region) business forum was held today in Baku.

Speaking at the forum, Deputy Economy Minister Rufat Mammadov said that there are currently about 700 Russian companies operating in Azerbaijan.

He said trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Sverdlovsk region increased by 83% last year. So far, Russia has invested $ 4.7 billion in the Azerbaijani economy and $1.2 billion in Azerbaijan.

As part of the forum, the Azerbaijan-Russia (Sverdlovsk Oblast) Association of Wine Producers and Exporters signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between Vinaz LLC of Sverdlovsk Region, Azerbaijan Association of Fruit and Vegetable Producers and Exporters and TEN Group of Sverdlovsk.
