Inflation made up 0.2% in Azerbaijan in November

December 12, Fineko/abc.az. Inflation made up 0.2% in Azerbaijan in November versus 1.1% in October of the year.

"Prices for foods rose by 0.3% and for nonfoods by 0.3%, while rates on services to the population remained unchanged," the State Statistics Committee reported.

According to the Committee, average annual price increase by the end of November made up 13.4% (in October: 13.7%). Foods increased in price by 17.1%, nonfoods by 12.1% and services by 9.6% for the past part of the year.

The Azerbaijan government forecasts average annual inflation at the level of 13.2% for 2017.

The average annual inflation in Azerbaijan reached 12.4% by the end of 2016.
