Azerbaijan`s foreign trade turnover exceeded $19 billion in January-July

According to the State Statistics Committee, in January-July this year, the country's foreign trade amounted to $19,932,800,000, including the export value of $11,499,100,000, imports - $8,433,700,000, taking into account the statistical estimated value of the exported crude oil and natural gas, registered with the customs authorities, but not completed with customs clearance.

It is noted that as a result, a positive trade balance of $3,065,400,000 was formed. Compared to the same month last year, foreign trade turnover grew in actual terms by 14%, in real terms - by 6%, including import - by 15.6%, export - by 1.2%.

According to the data, the top five countries in which export operations were conducted include Italy, Turkey, Israel, India and China.

At the same time, the top five countries importing products into the country are Switzerland, Russia, Turkey, China, and the USA.
