September 19. Fineko/abc.az. The 9th International Caspian Energy Forum is taking place in Baku.

ABC.AZ reports that a number of government officials and entrepreneurs are participating in the Forum.

Speaking at the forum, Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov touched on the status of the Caspian Sea and noted that high-level ties with all the Caspian countries already exist.

“Our relationship is getting stronger every year. And the Caspian Sea today is considered not only as a reservoir. The agreements reached by us allow the maximum use of the resources of the Caspian Sea. The issue of dividing the Caspian Sea into certain regimes is fully agreed. There are general provisions adopted by the heads of state that we comply with. At the same time, I can say that the issue of dialogue is not finished and the Convention is built in the form of a permanent dialogue. At the same time, we are discussing the topic of trust, one of the most important issues in the Caspian Sea,” Khalafov said.
