Oil prices are rising

September 20, Fineko/abc.az. Oil prices continued to rise during trading on Friday.

As a result of trading on September 19 at the London ICE Futures exchange, the cost of the November Brent crude futures rose by $ 0.80 (1.26%), to $ 64.40 per barrel. On Friday, at 9:05 a.m., November Brent futures rose $0.34 (0.53%) to $ 64.74 per barrel.

As a result of trading on September 19 at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), October WTI oil futures increased in price by $ 0.02 (0.03%) settling at $ 58.13 per barrel. On Friday, at 9:25 the price of the October WTI oil futures increased by $0.57 (0.98%) to settle at $ 58.70 per barrel.

According to Dow Jones, the oil market still fears possible shortage of supplies in the global market in the short term due to increased geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
