September 20, Fineko/abc.az. The 25th anniversary of the ACG is a significant event in the recent history of the oil and gas industry of Azerbaijan. This is a historic day for SOCAR, BP and all other partners of the ACG contract, regional president of BP for Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey, Gary Jones.

“What has been achieved under this treaty since 1994 is impressive. It was with this agreement that colossal changes began, which again pushed the country's economy, again turning Azerbaijan into one of the largest energy suppliers in the world. One of the reasons for these achievements is the very successful cooperation within the ACG framework.  It all is thanks to President Aliyev, his government and SOCAR. Together we have shown what cooperation can do," the BP president said.
