September 20, Fineko/abc.az. In January-August of the current year, the volume of export of natural gas and gaseous hydrocarbons from Azerbaijan to Georgia increased. In the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 1,117,315.4 tons of gas and gas hydrocarbons in the amount of $182.76 million, according to the report of the National Statistical Office of Georgia.

The report says that these figures are 2.2% and 7.2% respectively more than for the same period last year.

And in January-July, Azerbaijan increased the export of natural gas to Georgia by more than 8%.

For comparison, over 7 months, Georgia imported 1,047,703,200 cubic meters of natural gas from Azerbaijan. This is a growth of 80, 363,300 cubic meters and 8.3% than last year.
