Foreigners’ operations through bank cards for past month reach AZN 137.4 million

September 27, Fineko/abc.az. 2.138 million foreigners from 190 countries visited Azerbaijan for Jan-Aug of the year (by 8.2% more versus Jan-Aug 2018). Last month the number of foreign citizens arriving in the country increased by 13.2%, and the operations carried out by them through bank cards amounted to AZN 137.4 million.

September’s issue of journal Export Review says that the cost of transactions with bank cards of foreign citizens who arrived in Azerbaijan for Jan-Aug 2019 totaled AZN 862.9 million.
