Fruit and vegetable export reaches $361.7 million this year

September 30, Fineko/abc.az. Tomatoes managed to keep their leader export position ($141.5 million) in the list of nonoil goods exported for Jan-Aug 2019. Gold (used not for coinage, but in other raw forms – $107.7 million) and cotton fiber ($85.1 million) occupy the second place for the reported term.

According to September’s issue of journal Export Review, for the past 8 months of 2019 the export of fruits and vegetables totaled $361.7 million, plastics and products of them $136.8 million, cotton fiber $86.2 million, aluminum and products of them $81.3 million, chemical products $68.5 million, electricity $58.4 million, ferrous metals and products of them $41.4 million, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages $18.9 million, cotton yarn  $20.2 million, and sugar $20.1 million.
