October 1, Fineko/abc.az. The deposits of individuals amounted to AZN 8.456 bn in August 2019.

ABC.AZ informs that according to Financial Market Supervision Authority’s overview indicators on the banking sector for August 2019, the retail term deposits for the past month increased by 1.5% (AZN 79.7 million) up to AZN 5.437 bn as of 31 August 2019. Term deposits of individuals in foreign currency grew by 0.8% (AZN 24.8 million) versus the previous month and in national currency by 2.3% (AZN 54.9 million).

The total deposits of legal entities increased by 0.3% (AZN 30.3 million) up to AZN 10.6 bn. Term deposits for the past month observed a rise of 1.3% (AZN 32.2 million) up to AZN 2.543 million.
