October 4, Fineko/abc.az. If a few years ago banks gave loans to customers directly, now banks have already begun giving loans through the card.

ABC.AZ reports that Javanshir Abdullayev, director general of the Azerbaijan Banking Training Center, made such a statement at the 6th Investor Fair dedicated to theme "Microfinance at the Crossroads: Sustainable Development in the Digital Age".

The director general noted that this means that interest in digitalization is growing in Azerbaijan as well. 
"In the banking sector, electronisation and digitalisation gradually began growing. We must try to work together to eliminate the problems and inconveniences that may arise in the course of this digitalization," Abdullayev emphasized.
