Standard oil prices rise, while Azeri Light falls by 0.71%

October 11, Fineko/abc.az. The price of Azerbaijani oil Azeri Light decreased by $0.44 (0.71%) to $61.58 a barrel.

Prices of standard oil rose in the course of Asian trading on Friday after a significant rise the day before.

In trading on 10 October on the London ICE Futures Exchange, December’s Brent crude futures increased in price by $0.78 (1.34%) and was $59.1 a barrel at the close.

December’s Brent futures grew in price by $0.42 (0.71%) up to $59.52 a barrel by 9:20 am on Friday.

At the end of trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), WTI crude futures for November rose in price by $0.96 (1.83%) up to $53.55 a barrel.

November’s WTI futures rose by $0.36 (0.67%) up to $53.91 a barrel by 9:20 on Friday.

Since the beginning of the week Brent has risen by 1.7% and WTI by 1.9%.
