Azerbaijani leader approved new duties in connection with foreign passports and IDs

December 15, Fineko/abc.az. Yesterday, the country’s president signed a document endorsing the amendments to the Law on State Duties.

In particular, the amendments say about an increase of the state duty from 2018 for replacement of foreign passports and identity cards in case of their loss.

In compliance with the approved amendments to enter into force from 1 January 2018 the state duty for giving the ID within 10 working days will be 15 manats (previously: 5 manats), within 3 working days – 35 manats (25 manats), within one working day - 45 manats (35 manats).

The state duty for a new foreign passport in case of its loss or damage will range from 20 to 170 manats, depending on the age of the recipient. The above-listed state duties will be charged when the person receives his foreign passport within 10 days.
