October 29, Fineko/abc.az. Although life insurance observed decline for the first 9 months of 2019, the compulsory insurance increased by 29% (AZN 8.1 million) in connection with accidents and occupational diseases in production.

ABC.AZ informs that the data is covered by Financial Market Supervision Authority’s (FIMSA) report on the insurance sector for Jan-Sept 2019.

According to the report, the growth of compensation payments on compulsory insurance of civil liability of motor vehicle owners amounted to AZN 10.4 million, on insurance of air vehicles AZN 5.4 million, and insurance of motor vehicles AZN 2.6 million. The decrease was recorded mainly on medical insurance (AZN 1 million) and compulsory state personal insurance of servicemen (AZN 2 million). Compensation payments on this type of insurance changed depending on the intensity of the event for the relevant period.
