Baku trade turnover grew by 3.4% for Jan-Sept

October 31, Fineko/abc.az. According to the Baku Statistics Department, for the first 9 months of 2019 trade turnover of the Azerbaijani capital increased by 3.4% versus the 2018 same term up to AZN 15.19 bn.

The cost of foods, beverages and tobacco products sold in the retail network grew by 2.9% (compared with the 2018 same term) up to AZN 6.859 bn and nonfoods by 4% up to AZN 8.16 bn.

28.6% of consumer goods were sold at enterprises with legal entity status, 47.3% at retail facilities owned by individual entrepreneurs, and 24.1% at the commodity markets of Baku.
