November 1, Fineko/abc.az. Presentation of the first student card Smart has been held in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ was reported from the Central Bank that Smart student cards are presented to 20 first-year students of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), who are presidential fellows.

Speaking at the event, CBA’s first deputy chairman Alim Guliyev noted that this project will provide important support in the development of a new generation with modern payment culture, in the development of the digital payment ecosystem in the country.

According to Guliyev, providing access to the payment market for the young layer of society, it is possible to achieve another step to increase the use of modern payment solutions in the country and the formation of a "cashless society".

"The involvement of university students in this project creates new opportunities for close cooperation between the education system and the banking system as a whole," the CBA rep said.
