Volume of retail deposits at banks unveiled - over AZN 8 bn

November 5, Fineko/abc.az. The total deposits of individuals at banks amounted to AZN 8.605 bn on 30 September 2019.

ABC.AZ reports that the data is covered by Central Bank’s monthly statistics.

According to the data, 75% or AZN 6.459 bn of the total deposits in the amount of AZN 8.605 bn were short-term (up to 1 year), 25% or 2.146 bn are long-term deposits. 42% or AZN 2.722 bn of short-term deposits, 51% or AZN 1.88 bn of long-term loans were in foreign currency.

The current accounts made up 48% or AZN 3.112 bn of short-term deposits.
