Unfortunately, some of our reforms not registered this year - Vusal Gasimli

November 6, Fineko/abc.az. Digitalization of the banking sector bears systemic nature.

ABC.AZ reports that the statement was made by executive director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications Vusal Gasimli at the IV International Banking Forum "Cashless Economy: Towards Sustainable Banking".

He noted that at present President Ilham Aliyev is implementing the system of electronization of government agencies.

Gasimli noted that the system is directly connected with e-governments and touched upon the electronization of the banking sector: "Work of the e-government system is ongoing successfully. The creation of an electronic court is also one of the important projects. The banking sector in Azerbaijan is more prone to electronization. Azerbaijan continues reforms in a number of spheres. And this, of course, is assessed positively by international organizations. Despite that, some of our reforms have not been recorded this year, unfortunately. We hope this will happen next year. As you can see, all international organizations positively assess Azerbaijan. We are currently implementing a crowdfunding project for the first time on the post-Soviet area. This project is an innovation in the post-Soviet space and is of great importance."
