Takuya Yamashige, the director of Japanese company Cross operating in Azerbaijan, informed ABC.AZ about that, when assessing the situation on the e-money market.

Japanese company’s director added that now the pace of cryptocurrency development in Azerbaijan does not gladden, and work on some projects is underway for this purpose. Touching the question of the choice of Azerbaijan as a territory, said: "Geographically, Azerbaijan is located in the heart of Europe and Asia. So, we thought that if we create a company here, then both Azerbaijan and the region will play a big role in the development of our company. One of our goals was to establish a company in Korea, Turkey and Azerbaijan. We can say that we’ve already achieved part of this goal. Currently, Baynanc is the world's most powerful platform for cryptocurrency. And our company occupies the 70th place in the world cryptocurrency market. Baynanc is our most serious competitor. Currently, all representatives of the company are working to include Cross in Top 5 within the next 2 years."
