November 20, Fineko/abc. az. In January-October 2019, enterprises, organizations and individual entrepreneurs operating in the country produced GDP of 65.4 billion manats. This is 2.1% more than in the same period last year.

As reported ABC.AZ with reference to the state statistics Committee, net taxes on products and imports for the period amounted to 9% of GDP. GDP per capita was 6609.6 manats.

In January-September 2019, there was an increase in taxes, which make up the bulk of budget revenues. Excise tax revenues increased by 23% compared to the ten months of 2018 and reached 669.9 million manats. And taxes related to foreign economic activity increased by 20%. The total value added tax increased by 18% and reached AZN 3 billion 756.87 million. Property tax increased by 16% and corporate income tax by 7%.
