Cargo in ports exceeded 6 million tons for past 10 months

November 25, Fineko/abc.az. Loading & unloading operations for 6.7 million tons were carried out at seaports of Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that for Jan-Oct 2019 the loading & unloading operations in the volume of 6.775 million tons were conducted at seaports.

The State Statistics Committee informs that transit cargo totaled 6.214 million tons or 91.7% of cargo. As of 1 November the volume of remaining cargo in the ports amounted to 195,900 tons. The number of passengers transported by sea for Jan-Oct increased by 30.9% (versus the 2018 same term) up to 17,800 people.
