Non-cash turnover has positive impact on e-commerce

November 26, Fineko/abc.az. Growth of non-cash turnover has positive impact on the growth of e-commerce.

ABC.AZ reports that the statement was made by Orhan Mammadov, head of the Agency for the Development of Small & Medium-Sized Businesses, at the World E-Commerce Eurasia Forum in Baku. In particular, he stated that expanding the coverage of e-commerce in Azerbaijan, including increasing its share in retail sales,  and development of cross-border trade is a priority task.

He added that the adoption of the state program on expansion of digital payments for 2018-20, the creation of the portal of the digital trade hub will expand the non-cash payment environment in the country and minimize cash turnover. The growth of non-cash turnover among economic entities and the formation of these habits among the population have positive impact on the increase of e-commerce.
