November 28, Fineko/abc.az. The Financial Market Supervision Authority (FIMSA) has published the indicators of the insurance market for Jan-Oct 2019.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to FIMSA’s report that for the past 10 months the premiums of 12 insurance companies decreased against the Jan-Oct 2018. The premiums of 9 out of 22 insurers operating in Azerbaijan increased.

Among the companies with reduced insurance premiums are as follows: Amrah Sığorta, Atasigorta, Ateshgah Hayat, Ateshgah, AHA MBASK, Azsıqorta, Gunay Sigorta, Mega Sıgorta, PASHA Hayat Sigorta, Qala Hayat and Standard Insurance.

The decrease in premiums gathered by life insurance companies is linked with the entry of amendments to the legislation into force from January 2019.
