December 20, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan's Financial Markets Supervisory Authority has named the reason for the inspections in the only state-owned commercial insurance company Azersigorta.

The Authority said that the inspections are conducted in accordance with the plan of measures for regulating the insurance sector for 2017-2019.

"The inspections are conducted to study the situation with the compliance of professional participants in the insurance market with the legislative requirements," the structure reported.

The authority informed that the inspections in the company had already been completed and discussions on their results are underway. In accordance with the results of inspections, requirements will be put forward the company.
