December 11, Fineko/abc.az. Bakhtiar Mammadov has been appointed the new director of the Baku oil refinery named after Heydar Aliyev and former plant’s director Elman Ismayilov Elman as deputy vice president for processing at SOCAR in compliance with the order of SOCAR president Rovnag Abdullayev.

Bakhtiar Mammadov was born in 1971. After graduating from the Azerbaijan Oil Academy (current Azerbaijan State University of Oil & Industry) he began his career at Azerneftyag refinery and held various positions until 2015. In 2015-2016 he worked as deputy department head at BNPZ (Baku Oil Refinery) and in 2016-2019 as chief engineer and deputy director at plant SOCAR Carbamide.
