Azerbaijan supplied 64% of Georgia`s imported electricity for Jan-Nov

December 13, Fineko/abc.az. Georgia imported 904,006 million kWh of electricity from Azerbaijan for Jan-Nov 2019.

ABC.AZ reports that the statement was made by the Electricity Market Operator of Georgia (ESCO).

The statement says that for the past 11 months of this year Georgia imported 1.415 bn kWh of electricity and Azerbaijan’s share makes up 63.8% of that.

For the reporting period Georgia exported 243.42 million kWh of electricity, including 12.104 million hours from Azerbaijan. Over Jan-Nov Georgia carried out transit of electricity from Azerbaijan to Turkey in the amount of 116.69 million kWh.
