Central Bank raised AZN 100 million in deposit auction

December 16, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) raised AZN 100 million on Monday at the next deposit auction for banks.

"On 16 December the CBA held another deposit auction in which it raised AZN 100 million. The supply during the auction amounted to AZN 745.7 million. The weighted average rate during the auction made up 5.76% (at the auction on 9 December - 6.01%)," the CBA reported.

The funds were raised for the period of 14 days.

Since June 2016 the CBA began holding deposit auctions.
