December 16, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Labor & Social Protection warns pensioners.

ABC.AZ reports that Fazil Talibov, the head of the Department of Public Relations & Communications, says that unknown persons, calling pensioners, inform them about the increase in the amount of pension and ask them for pension card numbers allegedly to download the amount of pension.

He added that some media spread such an information.

“The goal of such persons is to deceive pensioners and steal money from their pension cards. Therefore, we bring to the attention of pensioners that card data can not be requested from any pensioner and they should not tell anyone the data of their cards. I’ll also note that in case of increase of pension, no pensioner is called home and is notified about that in such way. The increased sums are simply automatically transferred to their pension accounts".
