December 17, Fineko/abc.az. A roundtable on the theme "Tax policy in the development of entrepreneurship: international experience & example of Azerbaijan" has been conducted at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics.

ABC.AZ reports that the event, which was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Taxes, Milli Majlis, business representatives and scientists, was held with the support of the ASUE Scientific Activity Management Department and Carlsberg Azerbaijan.

University’s rector Adalat Muradov and Carlsberg Azerbaijan’s CEO Vyacheslav Maltsev delivered speech at the event.

Maltsev noted that Carlsberg Group highly appreciates the steps taken by the government of Azerbaijan in the sphere of cooperation with business, and these steps are only the beginning of fruitful cooperation in the public-private sector.

Ilya Sokolov, leading research officer of the Institute of Economic Policy named after Y.T.Gaidar, spoke about the international experience of the dialogue between the public and private sectors.

The event served as the basis of a new platform that will lay the foundation for sustainable economic and business development in Azerbaijan.
