ABC.AZ reports that the statement was made by Samira Musayeva, the head of the Main Department of the Ministry of Taxes, during the roundtable on the theme “Tax policy in the development of entrepreneurship: international experience & example of Azerbaijan", held at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics.

She points out that the country supports small and medium-sized businesses, while not forgetting about big business.

"The tax legislation is based so that big business is always supported. All entrepreneurs involved in industrialization are supported. We use a number of tools to inform foreign investors. For example, we show ways of investing in Azerbaijan on foreign media sites, television and in our embassies abroad," Musayeva said.

Tax Ministry’s representative touched upon the simplification of administration.

"As a whole, sale and conducting works in e-form using the online platform will lead to time savings for entrepreneurs. The system of electronic invoices and electronization of other operations bear the nature of assistance to entrepreneurs," Musayeva stressed.
