Rate of arrivals in Azerbaijan from Russia grew by 29.7%

December 20, Fineko/abc.az. For Jan-Nov 2019 Azerbaijan was visited by 2.923 million people from 192 countries (by 11% more versus the 2018 same term).

According to the State Statistics Committee’s data presented to ABC.AZ, 29.7% of them were citizens of the Russian Federation, 22.6% - Georgia, 9.9% - Turkey, 8% - Iran, 3.5% in Saudi Arabia, 2% - United Arab Emirates and India, 1.9% Ukraine, and 1.7% - Turkmenistan 1.6% - Iraq, 1.5% -  Kazakhstan and Israel, 1.4% - Pakistan, 1.2% - UK, 11.4% - citizens of other countries, and 0.1% - persons without citizenship.

Males made up 66.3% of the visitors and females - 33.7%.
