December 25, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan carried out 2.5 million passengers by air for Jan-Nov 2019 (by 12.1% more versus the 2018 same term).

Portal ABC.AZ was reported at the State Statistics Committee that 99.9% of carriages were conducted by state-owned and 0.1% by private companies.

For the reporting period 3.7 million passengers were transported by rail. The Committee informs that compared with the relevant period of 2018 the growth of passenger traffic made up 48.2%. On average, 298 railcars were loaded and 430 railcars were unloaded during the day.

During the day, the shipment in the northern direction of the railway amounted to 12,100 tons, in the western direction 4,200 tons, and in the southern direction 900 tons.
